Namaste Yogis and Yoginis,

Devotion Yoga's unique and extensive 200-Hour Teacher Training Program

is an exploration of both the philosophy of yoga and its practical application

as both a student and teacher in the modern world.

Why Our New Training is Unique...

Sacred Roots

Utilizing sacred texts such as Patanjali's Yoga Sutra's and the Bhagavad Gita

as guides we will develop a deeper understanding of the yogic path through

asana, pranayama, meditation, ayurveda, and bhakti (devotion). You will

develop not only an understanding of the rich philosophy of yoga but also

what it means to be a yogi in the modern world.

Modern Application

The roots of yoga will be applied through a modern lens to look more deeply

at teaching methodology, human anatomy, and physiology. Proper

alignment, anatomy of the human body, hands on adjustments, developing

confidence and finding your true voice will be topics that will be discussed

to help us develop into better students and teachers of yoga.

Becoming a Teacher

Through these studies you will be able to:

• Teach a well-rounded & safe vinyasa style yoga class

• Develop a confidence in you true voice

• Understand the yogic path as it applies to modern life

• Knowledge of Yoga Philosophy through the Sacred Texts of

the Yoga Sutra & Bhagavad Gita

• Developing a Home Practice as a foundation of your teaching
